All yolks aside, we called them one-eyed jacks, (no taking that further) ...

 ... although all other breakfast food comes up short of eggs benedict and mimosa, (with maybe some home fries and strawberry waffles).  ;)

I've never seen that before, but I can't help but think that I would prefer it with the bread whole and the egg on top so that it absorbs all the yolk.

Wow, waffles as a side. That is heavy. Sounds like a perfect brunch if by fries we are talking about home fries and not french fries.

I do like my eggs benedict with mimosa for brunch.
