Is love really that good? I think pierce is better than westbrook.
Maybe Love isn't that good but he will be. Huge ceiling. He's dominating the boards already.
To me, Paul Pierce is the most underrated player in the league. Nuff said.
If the Celtics had Kevin Love the rebounder...just the rebounder, not even the 20 point scorer. Just a guy that could snatch every rebound within 10 feet of him, they would have won the alst 2 championships.
Love's ability, akin to Rodmans in the 90's is vastly underrated. When you see him on a winning team in the playoffs swallowing up rebounds and getting his team extra scoring chances, it will be evident how valuable he is. Add to that the guy can shoot with range...wow.
If Love isn't scoring, then he is a one trick pony.
There is no defense there. He would be another Danny Fortson.
I think Love is getting stat inflation love. Put him on a team with real scorers, and his offense gets to the David Lee level. (Lee offense dropped when he left NY with few options to GS with a lot of options)
Zach Randolph, Blake Griffin say hi. Both players who put up stats very similar to Kevin Love. Randolph was the only one of the three on a decent team, and yet he was ranked in the middle of them. Not much rhyme or reason if you ask me.
Kevin Love throws the best outlet passes in the league, and his combination of floor spacing and rebounding is unparalleled. I'd put Z-Bo, K-Love, and Griffin all close together in the rankings, but I'd have them in that order. None of them should be higher than #15.
Put K-Love on a team with at least one other decent defender and his lack of defensive prowess won't be nearly as noticeable (again, take a look at Zach Randolph last season).
