Half of Boston was rooting for the Yankees against the Rays...

I'm more curious to why he has two jobs now? is he financially unstable? What is he blowing his money on?
How financially stable would you be if you had effectively lost your job twice in the past few years (First from Cleveland and then from Boston)?  Bills have a way of keeping coming...even when your financial status changes.

That's the problem of many Americans, always wanting more than you can afford! He has made more than enough to buy a house and car for cash (not rinky-dink stuff either) but he is buying over his head! When you need a job after making a few million dollars, it's not about losing the job, it's money management! You can live a very nice life on 1 million alone but he has made more than that! With what DW has made in his career, losing a job for a few years in fact should not cause him to look for other work! We already gotta get ready to pledge to the Chinese flag w/ the way we spend. No need to make excuses for people who poorly manage money when some people survive (with kids) on 15k and less a year!

If you think dude is broke you're disillusioned. Trust me, DWest is not broke. I know him and his family personally. Delonte is just a different type of dude. He is as real as they come and like to keep it real. People can post things about his antics like this, but what about some of the other things he does:

I love the kids. The youth empowerment night and basketball clinic just started. lockerz.com/s/141339451

Today @ 4 I'm touring Safe Shores- DC Children's Advocacy Center. The children in their care have been sexually abused. This will b emotional

Great afternoon. I had fun playing Bingo at Magnolia Gardens Nursing Home. We gotta do this again #DelonteWestCharityWeekend

Don't allow his antics to tip you into believing he's a wreckless, crazy athlete that can't take care of his finances. Dude has dough!

Judgement should only come from above.

My favorite part is the convicted of a crime part where he calls it a "misunderstanding."

None of us know if Delonte is rich or broke, nor is it any of our business if or why he wants a job.  Not many of us in this country live below their means.  The middle class doesn't live in slums to save for a rainy day...The whole dream of America is that anyone has a chance to  make  a good life  if they work for it.  Delonte was not one of the players who was being paid millions, but, though he may not have been in their financial group, he might have been in their social group, which together his disease, could make things uncomfortable.

I saved all my life.  I have no bills and don't  have to work now.  Does that make me any smarter or better than some of my friends who are barely making it on Social Security?  I don't think so.  I don't think it is any of my business. I don't think my financial status is any of their business, either.  And the same goes for Delonte.  (Unless, of course, he asks me for a loan,  ;) ).  None of us knows what goes on in another's private life.

Delonte needs to stay active and have some sort of schedule and activity.

This most likely has nothing to do with him needing cash..its either he is doing it for a friend for publicity to the business or he is doing it for himself to keep busy and his schedule filled since..we forget that he is bi-polar and suffers depression.

Check out his website www.dwest13.com for some insight what he doing to keep busy.  I'm sure most already know his website, but come on..to me he is trying to stay busy.
