I don't think our guys get that pumped up by dunks nor do I think they give a rat arse about the crowd.   You might recall a few years ago they had a very good road record that at times surpassed their home record.  Only the least professional of player's let the crowd affect them.   It might happen in high school but a player like PP lives to silence an opposing crowd.  This isn't the asphault or concrete of the playground.

I won't argue that we are better when we attack the hole.   It leads to better FG shots and FT attempts.   But PP more often uses the backboard when he attacks the rim than the dunk.  He is not someone who favors the dunk over a sure easy shot.  I would much rather have a player with his skill set than say a Gerald Green who can only dunk.  The defense can't sag off PP because he will make them pay with that jumper but you can sag off a dunker because all they can do is dunk.
