NBA Stars in the Philippines.

Since I'm guessing no one here is from the Philippines, I guess no one has heard of this. Just watched famous NBA stars play against the All stars in my country. Kobe Bryant, Derek Fisher, Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, Tryeke Evans, Derrick Williams and Andray Blatche came to play. Obviously it was a pretty one sided game. But it was really fun to see how some of our players could match up with famous nba stars. Derrick Williams looked positively promising, Blatche completely dominated considering the tallest guy we had was about 6-9, and the other guys played really well. Tomorrow, they'll play against the Philippine team, can't wait!

tix were expensive but really worth it.  loved Durant's alleyoop to Harden. McGee planking was cool too.

Game 2 was much better. First game was really humiliating, shows how far the PBA has fallen. At least the National team put up a fight.

Wish there were some from the Cs that came. Would love to see Rondo. Last Celtic to visit the country was Pierce in 2004 I think when he toured top universities in the country.

This wouldn't happen if not for the lockout though.

It was in the news here.  But not really a big deal with it being an exhibition matchup.  It's like when European soccer powerhouses come to the US for a summer tour to play the MLS teams; the fans in the US are excited to see the top teams in the world. But the Barca, ManU, Real fans back in Europe just look at it as a very non-competitive friendly.
