The one good part (I guess) of Baby playing for a contract is that he probably lowered his value a bit. Of course, that cost us as a team, so it's not really a plus. That being said, Baby was playing at a level that would have possibly gotten him a MLE deal early in the year. And the end? Not so much. I think teams will look at his height/weight/lift, and the comments by Doc suggesting Baby didn't play his role and be wary of giving him a big deal. Especially with the (almost-certain) more restrictive CBA coming, I see no way anyone offers him more than 3/11. If he's not getting big money, sign him on the cheap. If he's getting any offers, try a S&T. But...yeah, Baby's slump and the reasons for said slump (bad attitude, increased waistline) hurt him big time.
