Big Baby sure is blue chipper. I mean.....the manicured nails and all.  ..what a deal he'd be.

I'll stop by IHOP tommorrow and see what on his mind.

so we wind up with big al, kg, and jeff green.  interesting, weren't they all involved in the trade?

Green was in the deal for Ray.

Going with the theme though, we did end up with 2 of the three things we traded for Ray (Green and Delonte).

Great, maybe we can also end up back in the lottery as well, just like old times!

What about Delonte?  He seemed to be after more than a paycheck.

I'm all for bringing Al back, especially with KG here for mentoring (see: http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=47932.0) but it's not going to happen for Baby and JO unless Danny really throws draft picks at them like crazy and I'm not sure that's worth it.  I'd like to see a third team get involved.

Big Baby + Troy Murphy couldn't get us Scalabrine back.

Sadly this is practically the truth.  And TP to ShaqAttack for making me laugh.

What did Utah trade to get Big Al?  I can't remember, but I thought it was a good amount at the time.

Basically two protected first round picks

Quote
On the heels of watching their star free-agent Carlos Boozer sign with Chicago, the Utah Jazz countered the loss with a big move of their own. In a cost-cutting effort, the Minnesota Timberwolves traded Al Jefferson to Utah in exchange for Kosta Koufos, the Memphis Grizzlies’ protected 2011 first-round pick (obtained by the Jazz in a previous trade) and an additional future protected first-round pick.

So, is Al Jefferson basically sort of like Carlos Boozer except softer on defense?

;D Brilliant, say hi Antione while you are at IHOP too!!!!

I like Big Al to OKC, Nick Colison here and Troy Murphy and BBD to Utah........ I just don't believe that Utah or OKC are interested in that three way.
