just for kicks and giggles

trade Pierce and KG to a team or teams with cap space to absorb their salaries (Mavs? Hawks? Rockets?)

tell Rondo to take his sweet time getting back from injury

trade anyone and everyone with a pulse (Green, Bass, Terry) for as many draft picks as you can get

win lottery, draft Ender Wiggins, pair with Rondo, sign Greg Oden

future lineup: Rondo, Bradley, Wiggins, Sullinger, Oden/Melo/free agent big.

dominate forever

this was the most Trade Forum post I've ever made

thank you, I'll be here all week

As a blogger whose site traffic depends on interests in a team a move like this could hurt your bottom line next year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

You'd think that, but IIRC the 2006-2007 year was one of the most active in the site's history.

That was before you ended up switching the forums and forced us all to reregister...but literally all of the topics back then were fire doc or who should start: marcus banks or Delonte west

I see what you did here... but it's not that wacky, it's just the blow it up idea that's common within celtic fans, taken to the hyperbole.

If Garnett is retiring, or they've decided to trade KG and PP, I'll be sad, but I hope they get something out of those trades.

And the idea of Rondo and Sully taking their time to play a minute could be the best route to go for the Cs if they're not 100% going to training camp and the Big 2 are not coming back.

Half-tanking? something like that, but you need to keep Green/Bradley/Rondo and Sully. Trading every player won't get you anywhere... of course you can draft the next GOAT and dominate forever, that worked out well in the past.

Well, if winning the lottery is part of the plan, I'd rather keep as much talent as possible, barely slip into the lottery as the 9th best team in the East, and win the lottery while every other team's fan complains that the lottery was rigged to help out one of the flagship franchises of the NBA.

by the way, I forgot the best part of my grand plan

when you trade PP and KG for nothing but cap space, you get two ginormous trade exceptions to use at any time in the next year - so the following summer you could trade for a superstar or two for nothing but cap relief and maybe a few picks
