Has anyone heard anything from him? I know it's not exactly a hot topic right now but he was great this season and then had that tough injury. I don't really know what happened after he got traded but was wondering if anyone knew how he was doing health wise.

I kinda wish he was on our non-playoff roster

He underwent surgery one or two months ago and it went well. Lately you can see him on Twitter and he is apparently staying occupied with his rap career. I hope he gets back in the NBA next year, preferably with us (not going to happen though).

He had successful surgery on his neck and is doing fine.  He posts on twitter alot.  He's been enjoying time with his kids and healing.

Pass. Don't need another injury guy. Need reliability. Even as much as I like West's game, I'm tempted to say Celts should pass on bringing him back if they can get someone close in talent that is more reliable.

Definitely bring him back. With his injury history I strongly doubt he gets anymore than the vet. minimum. So if he gets injured, you simply waive him. Getting a quality player that is very familiar with the system would be of great value.

I'm up for bringing him back provided we're not relying on him to backup the 3.

Quis always seemed to get a bad rap because he seemed to play...  very casually.  Not a highlight-reel player.  Always seemed to be a bit awkward.  Some guys, they have a smoothness to their game (Joe Johnson's one that comes to mind), others like Quis are a little more herky-jerky.  But, very effective in a lot of areas, other than shooting long jumpers.

I do think you have to blame Danny a *little* bit for not bringing in another guy who could play the 3 last summer.  Quis's injury was somewhat of a freak thing...  but only somewhat.  They knew that he had issues with his spine; as soon as he went down, KG was yelling at the opposing players to leave him alone because of it.

Even short of that, he's never been a guy who's been able to play a full season.

Quis was having a helluva good season when he went down, gotta think we'd be in an even stronger position today if he didn't get hurt so bad.

Glad to hear he's doing well and I hope for a continued speedy recovery for him as well.

I'd even like to see him back in Green, but I don't see how he'd fit in...DWest apparently backups Rondo and even Ray at times. Maybe take Von's spot after this season? I loved Wafer's play before he got injured, but now unfortunately he hasn't played much since then - save for those last two reg season games.

I kind of feel bad for the guy. I mean he had that injury then got traded to sacremento. It is bad enough to play on a bad team but to have played on a team like boston then get traded to the kings. Glad to see him working his way back

TP thanks for the update. Hope he finds success whatever he chooses to do.

Agreed. You can't control freak injuries like that. He'll be a bargain, Delonte might not be though...but if we win im sure he'll stay for a low payment.

Quisy was absolutely terrific for us this year and I respect Q6 as a player and a very strong person for all he's been through. Let this be a blessing in disguise for him to spend time with family.....then he can come back and win 19 with us next year.
