wow, Manny Ramirez is retiring!!

So here's the bigger question, I bought a Manny jersey a bunch of years back, and now it's the only Red Sox jersey I own...

am I allowed to wear it or not?

I wouldn't.  not for a while.

I feel you, but what's the time frame on this for you?  I mean, at what point is it acceptable to sport his gear.  Because the way his time with Boston ended was awful and the reports coming out about his use of PED's further tarnished his name, but on the other hand he was a huge part of 2 world series and he'll go down as one of the greatest Red Sox players of all time.  It's tricky...

Who cares? The teams the Red Sox beat had plenty of juicers too.

Personally I didn't care or buy into the whole prolonged upheaval about PED use in baseball, but it did further tarnish his image amongst many fans in Boston.

I think it's legitimate to wonder what kind of reaction I would get walking into Fenway in a Manny jersey.  I see a chance for some heckling there.
