The Celtics rarely get the benefit of the calls (occasionally they have and I'm always amazed when it happens)  We know that the Bulls, the Heat and the Lakers will all get a bias from the officials.  I fully expect the Celtics to have to fight the Knicks and the refs.  But a good team can still win even with an officiating bias.  I recall the one Heat game where they took 41 free throws to 6 for the Celtics and the Celtics still won.  They just have to stay focused and not allow the refs to take them out of their game.

That Bulls game was embarrassing; there were blatant no-calls for Indy down the stretch that swung the momentum in Chicago's favor. It was funny seeing Rose getting his bell rung, though; he definitely didn't seem ready for that much contact. It was also great seeing Chicago's vaunted defense exposed by a 37-win team.

Well, for some laughs to take the sting out of past Celtics experiences with "Questionable" reffing:

I don't know about you all, but I'm glad Shaq won't be back for a few games. Between him and Rondo, our freethrows leave a little to be desired.

Grizzlies managed to beat the Spurs despite the Spurs shooting like 50 FT's.

Shaq's FT shooting is unfortunate, but you're telling me you don't want him out there for 20 minutes just for his size and interior defense?

Of course I'd love him out there, even tonight.

My post was just in jest and in relation to the clip I posted :)

Yeah, the referees clearly tried to give the Spurs the game against the Grizz. They just couldn't close it out.

Lakers game looked about even. I don't know what it is about Big Men getting hurt around Kobe Bryant though... it's just too consistent. Perkins last year, then Gray kills LA in Game 1, and boom... goes down.  ::)
