Yes, Shaq would be great against this Bulls team.

The JO/BBD/Kristic + Garnett vs Noah+Boozer match up ends up being at best a wash because Noah gets matched up with Garnett and slows him down on offense, while JO/BBD/Kristic are not tall or consistent enough to make them pay on the post.

With Shaq+KG, Noah has to stay on Shaq, which means that Boozer becomes a real defensive liability.

Was anyone else wondering why we went away from Green after the first half? In the first half, he was doing everything we brought him here for; scoring on a big mismatch. Why not keep going to it and force Thibs to mess with their defense? The offense looked incredibly selfish after the half, in particular

Yeah, I think we saw a wash up front tonight (which was actually kind of nice to see).  But, with the way they took away Ray and Pierce, we absolutely need to win the battle up front.  Without Shaq, I just can't see us doing that.

Woah. Never thought of that; that's huge. Not to mention Shaq still draws double teams all the time. I really hope the guy can come back healthy, I wouldn't mind sitting him out the first round.

Felt we were just out coached which is stupid because other than the young legs they run everything you do. Jermaine needs to rebound but he didn't nearly allow what Davis did in this game tonight. To beat them you clearly needed to run, Davis had nothing to do with fastbreaks, stupid to leave Rondo out there with him.

yeah, seemed like fairly selfish play in the 2nd half. the green point is right on - he was scoring with ease on the block, and had a mismatch, so why did we stop going to him?

When we had Shaq on in the second game against them, it forced Boozer to try to cover KG, and KG had 20-17-6 on 7-11, while Boozer had 12-2. If we can somehow force the Boozer-KG match up, things become instantly different. And I think the only way they take Noah out of KG to guard someone else is if Shaq is there.

Why? bec. Doc wants his Big 3 to shine, Did you notice how he wouldn't sub Ray despite horrific offense? That's Doc for you.

I can see the C's trying to keep Shaq dressed, but glued to the bench for the first two series in the playoffs, like the lone cigarette in a glass box that says "in case of emergency, break glass".

The problems tonight were very simple ... we were careless with the ball, inconsistent on defense, and we couldn't put the ball in the basket to save our lives! I mean, how many lay-ups did we miss tonight?!? That difference alone would've won us the game! I don't think the young legs were "too much" for us, they just wanted this one more.

When you got no lift for a rebound and no spring for a j, your legs are telling you, i can't.
