To me, Ray Allen's game requires he play a lot of minutes so he can get into a good flow.

If Ray plays less minutes, he still won't have a good shooting game, slump or no slump.

Ray's shooting might not heat up in reduced minutes, but perhaps there is someone (or two, or three) behind him in the rotation who could give us more.  Ray has been seriously outplayed lately by Delonte, and with VW healthy as well, it might be a good time to give Ray a couple of nights off.  It would be nice to see a SG on the court that doesn't lose the ball every time he penetrates the painted area.

I didn't realize Doc had anything up his sleeve. 

He's just not getting through to this team for the past couple of years.
