I know the last thing we heard about Von Wafer was that he had gone through the whole practice on Thursday. I hope he comes back soon, the team needs some kind of fire (it will come back when Shaq returns) and enthusiasm.

He was a nice spark off the bench and already knows the system. I hope he gets some burn.

I did enjoy the maturation of Wafe throughout the season, though I doubt we'll see him scratch the playoff rotation.

Is he suiting up tonight?  I'm not sure if he's going to be in the rotation with West back.  I guess what it really boils down to is whether West plays the 1 or 2; the 1 meaning Wafer plays, the 2 meaning Arroyo plays.

And yes I thought was playing great right before the injury.

The forgotten man.  I was thinking of him the other night while thinking about Nate Robinson's positive "chemistry" attributes.  Von was indeed providing the occasional spark off the bench.  I don't know how he;ll get minutes when he returns, but if he earns them he'll get them.
Yup

Personally, I'd much rather see Wafer get the minutes than Arroyo. Without exaggeration I think Carlos plays the worst defense I've ever seen.

He is listed as day-to-day, which in Celtics' speak might mean a career-ending injury --  ;D

Funny how people are looking forward to having Von back (I am too of course) when he was in the gutter for most of the fans in the begining of the year.

Von has done a very good job in earning our respect.

He has, I was one of the gutter guys myself.  He is going to help the way they are playing now, he'll drive and he brings energy.  I don't think he'll see many minutes come playoff but anything to give ray rest now is help.

;D Wow I Forgot about Von Wafer. Celtics were playing well before he went down. Without Von Celtics are 6-6. Any correlation?  ;)

I like Wafer, too.  He was playing real well before he got hurt.

Yeah, I miss him too :)

I really like what I've seen from Wafer this year with us. Hopefully there's a role for him still here.
