I think it is a near lock that KG will sit out for a week or two at some point over the next month.

The only reason it has not already happened is because of the other injuries up front, and trying to integrate the new guys.  However, once Davis gets his legs back, and particularly if Murphy continues to look more comfortable, I expect KG to come down with a minor "injury", and be shut down for a few games, or maybe up to a couple weeks.

Yea, especially if the Lakers and Chicago start to lose some games, I fully expect Doc to state that KG is out 1-2 weeks with "soreness"

Doc: "He just doesent look 100% right now so im going to sit him"

Im not seeing KG struggle with his lift.

He hasnt converted the lob because teams have been consciously trying to take it away since Rondo and KG were turning games into layup lines early in the season.

KG is still rebounding the ball VERY well which is my measure of his lift. He is skying for defensive boards and he is getting up and down the court fluidly. if you think he looks like he did last year on one leg then you have a short memory.

agreed we need to play the #8 team (pacers) rather than the sixers and knicks. neither of those 2 teams will back down and i have a feeling a series with either of them could go into 6 or 7 games.

I want KG and everybody to play on March 27 as I'm there. Then let the rest begin, assuming it doesn't affect the #1 seed.

Couldn't agree more with the OP. This is the stretch of games to do it too......the rest of March looks pretty [dang] soft to me as far as schedule with The Knicks and Hornets as the only formidable opponents, and then the Spurs at the end of the month.
I think we need to get key guys on our bench going as well: Green, Murphy, and West in particular, and the only way to effectively do that is to dump a bunch of extra minutes on them to sharpen their game. Shaq needs to be back within the next 2 weeks or he won't make it to playoff shape IMO; not even factoring J.O. as he would be a bonus to even get 5mpg out of him in the playoffs when we get in foul trouble.
KG and Rondo for sure look gassed, and PP/RA are no spring chickens at this point, so reduce them all to in or around 30 mpg MAX, even giving them a game or two off during this March stretch.......then in April we are playing all Eastern Conference opponents, half of which are playoff teams. The schedule we have really is the perfect storm to allow for this rest, but then to also hit our stride right in time for the playoffs.

I also think Shaq needs to get time before the playoffs because he is a rhythm player... however, if he doesn't play until our first series he will be fine. Last season he played EXACTLY how he needs to for this team (although if he comes back and gets his rhythm b4 the playoffs he could give more), it wasn't enough for Cleveland b/c they wanted him to be the 2nd/3rd option... coming off that long/type of injury they expected too much.

I agree KG needs rest but KG is still performing at a high level... but when healthy and rested his best level far exceeds what he is doing now, especially defensively! RR is the person I feel needs the most rest, not b/c he plays too much (he is young and can play at a high level playing the minutes he does), he needs to rest b/c I feel he is a bit more banged up than he lets on (I don't think it's just the KP trade). Arroyo and West should give him more rest time, you see how much Doc pulled RR out in the last game... I see it happening much more in the games following, win or lose.

BTW: I usually read but RARELY believe this site, HOWEVER, this drama may be what's causing KG a bit of distraction or something (it may not be about his physical health)... check this out(it's been ongoing for some time now)...

go to media takeout.com there is a new update on KG and his wife/alleged mistress!

That is definately KG's side chick. I remember this popping up in 2008 when we won the title.

Basketball players are notorious cheaters, and their wives know the deal when they marry these guys, they get to be rich and live comfortably in exchange for running the risk that their husbands cheat.

Most of them dont care.

But yea, KG is definately getting it in with with this chick if you just go to **** you can see the pics for yourselves.

Yea, I saw the pics but I couldn't be sure when they were taken so I wrote alleged. Really though, if things jumped off between his wife and mistress... that could cause a lot of stress and distraction. Basketball is not the #1 priority for every player... his outside life could be on the rocks.

His wife has known about his side chick for years though according to what ive read, they just so happened to come across one another. I doubt KGs wife would want a divorce, most basketball wives are gold diggers in the first place and only care about the money and fame.
