The C's are dragging badly right now. Rondo is leading the pack in that department. He looks absolutely out of it.

I would rather see the C's rest up and give some games away then waste energy in games like tonight.

C's just need to be fresh and healthy come next month. They can beat Miami or Chicago in less than 7. HCA is meaningless if you are dog tired.

This is easy to say now that it looks like a virtual certainty. Not having HCA will definitely hurt. How about actually coach these games to win rather than trying to play 12 guys. And once west comes back, rondo needs to play better else he wants to lose a lot of his minutes. I already feel like west is going to close for us anyway.

Doc needs to just bench the entire starting lineup and bring them back 2 games before the playoffs, we arent going to have HCA over Chicago or the Lakers.

Lakers are the only team that can beat us, we have to hope Bynum gets injured or something.

Yeah, I am not overly concerned with that.  I think if the C's are healthy, they should handle the Bulls relatively easily, home court or not.  I am still more concerned with the Heat in the playoffs than the Bulls.  As the C's have shown many times, it is much easier to stop a one dimensional offense based around a single player (Rose), than it is one that can attack you from more angles.

Get healthy, get the starters some rest, and then worry about the playoffs.

As I said in the other thread, I think HCA is irrelevant. If we start seeing 7 game series before the finals we won't have a chance anyways. We need to be fresh and to win all series before the finals in 6 or less. HCA should be the last thing on their minds.

TP. I agree with this. If it takes the C's 7 games to beat Miami and Chicago they'll probably be burned out in the finals.

The posters on here act like we cant win on the road or something I would much rather be healthy during the playoffs then have our guys burnt out because of some seeding I dont even think the bulls matchup with us well at all just D Rose or bust

it isn't about HCA..it is about not having to play BOTH miami and the bulls. boston wants orlando and then the winner of the bulls-heat

Hypothetical question:

If we were guaranteed HCA over LA, would you concede HCA in the first 3 rounds?

I know I sure would. The 2-2-1-1-1 format over the first 3 rounds is the way it should be, the better team seems to win more often than not.
