Can we just give it up for this guy who has been a sparkplug for the celts early in games since we got him?

I'm very impressed with his offense tonight, but more importantly he's gotten after it on the boards (including the defensive boards).  That's not a strength of his, but he's putting in a ton of effort.

Absolutely. TP. He's been instrumental in keeping us in these games.

Since the trade he has been the second best player for the Celtics.

Garnett and Ray have been looking really elderly.

Rondo has been pouting and playing like trash.

Krstic shows up every night, hustles, attacks the offensive glass, and puts points on the board usually in the first half.

Tonight hes already got 14 and 8 in the first half.

Effort has really been here for him since he came, just not skillful on defensive boards, particularly against young athletic big guys (which we've been playing a ton lately).

I love Krstic....I think he feels no pressure playing with the likes of the Big 3 and Rondo. Nice cozy team these Celts.

What I'm liking about him is I think he actually does feel the pressure.

He was playing close to the hoop tonight. He caught a bullet pass at his face from Pierce (I think).

He got 9 rebs for the 2nd night in a row. For the past three games before this he got a block. He does some hustling.

I have to start to face the possibility that playing with a bunch of all stars and leaders may make a guy a better player.

Went 16 and 15! Even though it was a loss, very good game for him.

Krstic finished with impressive numbers, he was great on the boards tonight. I'm not impressed by his toughness, getting a rebound ripped away by a guard proves a need to toughen up. Again saw way too many open dunks. Doc already had to yell at him after two in a row. He definitely reminds me of Baby defensively. Erden was much better defending than Krstic has shown. My hope is just like the boards, he'll get better defensively, but yeah I want Shaq starting.

I'm pretty sure Doc was talking him about offensive spacing not about open dunks. If Doc wants to scream at somebody for us being scored in the paint it should be KG.

But whatever, not going to get worked up at games where we're playing with a depleted team.

Doc had also told him to stay away from fouls, since they had so many bigs available. And he grabbed 15 rebounds.  It's as if people here are going to criticize him for anything less than a Dwight Howard-on-a-good-day level of play.
