I've been a League Pass subscriber for the last four years, three with Directv and this year I switched over to Dish Network. This year there have been a lot of C's games that are either in standard definition or are broadcast from the non Celtics network.

Tonight was a double whammy no hi-def and Phoenix announcers. It just seems strange that out of all the games tonight the C's game was the only one that a hi-def channel wasn't available. I contacted Dish customer service and they told me the programming is controlled by LP not them. I don't know if living in Vegas has anything to do with it, but I also got blacked out when we played the Kings, both home and away. I remember last season I didn't miss a single game and all of them were broadcast on CSN in HD. I'm wondering if this is just happening on Dish or is anyone else experiencing this on any of the other carriers as well?

I have Direct TV League Pass and have not experienced the problems you are having. I cannot remember one non HD game. There may have been one along the way but I don't recall it this season.

NBALP hardly ever broadcasts the CSN feed anymore, previous years they have but not this year. I kind of think it has to do with Tommy's "homer-ism" LOL

Even the NBA TV guys joke about Tommy's announcing and the refs.

You must be new to League Pass lol.

My biggest issue with League Pass, and I've even contacted the NBA about it, is that NBATV games are not broadcast on L.P.  It is my understanding that the NBA owns both... why is it that I pay for League Pass (broadband) but am routinely cut out of games b/c they are on a channel that is owned by the NBA?!

Mike & Tommy used to be the prominent announcers for the Celtics on L.P the past 3-4 years.  I suspect they made a paradigm shift to mix it up more.. in other words, "phase Tommy out" :(

Plain and simple, it should be the broadcast of the home team.

But maybe they go by which team gets more ratings.

Obviously the C's have a ton of national TV games, but I haven't heard a C's broadcast since Sacramento on 2/1 (I live in NYC so I had the Nets broadcast before the ASB).

I believe the issue was that originally the Boston game was supposed to be on LP, but then they put someone else on LP.

So, they didn't fit back in the home broadcast. I thought it was pretty crappy also.
