Look, I am going to miss Perk like crazy - super nice guy; tough as nails; very professional and a lock-down defender against DHoward.  BUT - in Danny I trust.

This trade helps us in the long term; in our run through the Eastern Conference and indirectly, the Lakers' run in the Western Conference.  What I mean is, the Thunders pushed the Lakers deep into their series and wore them down and with the questions the Lakers have this year, so a Thunders team with Perk can defeat the Lakers (arguably), whenever they meet.  So, our team gets stronger and can compete better in a conference where the Bulls, Heat and Knicks are the teams to beat - not Orlando; we have tons of expiring contracts when me make the push for DHoward in 2012 and we give the Lakers a tougher team to beat.

It is a WIN-WIN.  Perk, I'll miss you, man.  You will always be a Celtic, but - in Danny, I trust.
