Handling all those injuries, all those minutes for our veterans I'm sure he's a must be.

I'm sure most Coaches would gladly take Docs job off his hands. Certainly not coach of the year at this point anyway.

Tibbs gets my vote...he's has to juggle players around due to injury after injury as well plus he's a first yr.head coach that is still figuring the position out.I feel Tom has done a great job this first half of the season. Also seems to have his team buying into playing defense most nights.

  • Rondo = Good
Award goes to the biggest surprise team...

Greg Popovich deserves it.

Tibbs has a slight lead over Pops in my mind.  He got all the Bulls including Rose to play defense and it's giving them a shot.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

I'm leaning towards Tibbs.  Pops in 2nd.  I'm going to take some serious heat for this one, in third, Erik Spoelstra.  Yes he has a ton of talent, but he's done a good job of dealing with that talent and keeping them in line.  Two months ago, his team almost fell apart and stopped believing in him and he turned that around.
do it

For the first time in very very much years, I can properly say Doc didnt lose more than 2 games this year for the Cs.
I dont want to jinx it...lol ( now thats in fashion)
but I like the way hes handling the things with only little players, maybe i can blame him for not usilng Semih or take out BBD from the ears from time to time, but hes done well.

Said that I think other teams cochaes and games savior Ray Allen and Paul the thruth pierce deserves titles more than Doc.
