Good week for the playoffs

Hi
I live in the UK and I am a big NBA / Celtics fan.
Planning a holiday to the US (Boston and NYC) around April time.
Unfortunately because of work commitments I can't make it in time for the last game of the regular season (13th of April against the Knicks) and would have to come latter in the month or early may.
Can someone suggest when would be a good week to come for a chance to catch a play off game?  It's looking good for the celtics to get to the playoffs and have home court advantage so I was thinking the 17th of April.
Do the playoffs normally tip off on a Saturday?

The season will end April 13th I believe so the end of April and early May would be a great time to travel to Boston. Good luck and welcome.
