Nice article on the man of the hour.

I was particularly intrigued by what Delonte had to say, considering their spat earlier in the season:

"We watch Von every day in practice and he's highly talented," said West. "The more he gains his confidence, the more he has to offer. The guy can play, that's the reason why he's here. You guys are getting a glimpse of what we see in practice every day. He can score the basketball, but as his confidence picks up, he's playing terrific the last couple of games."

50th TP for you, sir.

The Celtics are getting efforts from the lesser known players like Von Wafer and that is why I believe they will get to sixty wins before tax day. He is putting in the effort defensively and that is why he getting longer stints out there.

I guess I will drop the Von Waiver moniker I gave him on Christmas Day and start being a real fan of his.

I agree with Chris Forsberg, if this game was played last year, that would have fallen in the L column.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Thanks for the tps, guys. (Not so bad for a well-known "troll", eh)?

It's nice to see not just HIS his attitude changing, considering how the folks here pretty much universally dissed him, especially concerning the Delonte thing with the leak to the press and all.

The Celtics really do make their role players better. It's cool to see Wafer was given a real chance by the team, and is making the most of it!

Really, the lack of egos/infighting sets the team apart from most of the rest.

Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.
