"A 3? A 3?"
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

"A 3? A 3?"

Great reaction by Doc, and a stupid stupid shot by Baby.

Seems like Baby's mind isn't in it..  ???

I'm sure they'll step it up sooner or later.. silver lining of KG being out is the bench getting more mins.

If BBD had Rondo ... maybe

But without Rondo and with nobody to create high percentage shot attempts for him? It's pretty doubtful. More likely, we'll see a repeat of his ineffective offensive performance against the Pistons. Nate just isn't good enough at facilitating the offense.

Nailed it.

The majority of Baby's shots were either of his own creation posting up David West or a few feet out of his ideal range.

Baby and KG get most of their points off of 1/4 pick and rolls with Rondo's penetration freeing up the open 17 footer.  Pierce and Ray can get the same looks against bad defenses but the Hornets ball-pressure and aggressive trapping off picks thwarted Pierce and Ray's ball-handling.  Nate was more easily flustered, as he just doesn't have the size or awareness to make anything but the most obvious passes in the half-court.

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

Baby just tried to do too much today. At one point in the 2nd half, even Tommy noticed that Davis had more shot attempts than Ray and PP. Maybe he felt he had to score more with KG out. That sequence in the 4th when he took an ill advised three (has he ever made one this season?) and lost his man subsequently on defense the next play did the Celtics in. This was definitely his worst game of the season.

He made one against Cleveland.  I expect him to eventually decide one off-season that he needs to work on developing three-point range.

So, apparently BBD "stormed" out of the Celtics locker room, slamming the door behind him.  I just hope he gets his mind right before the next game.  He's struggled lately, and we need him.

He really needs to grow up and stop being such a Baby, he constantly throws tantrums and is looking out for himself more often than the team.

Davis wants to be a star... and it's starting to be a problem.

I think everyone played reserved today because well, they wanted to save some energy for the parties tonight lol.

I don't think so. Despite what the coaching staff said about "not stepping up, just playing your game" Davis went out trying to fill KG's shoes. He pressed and didn't have a good game. If anything he was too eager to help the team, and that bit us in the rear.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Yeah Baby struggled and took more shots than my liking, but with Paul and Ray aside from that small stretch not really doing anything offensively either where do we go? Nate was a non factor, we should have kept going to Marquis, Shaq, and made a effort from the get go to get Ray going.

looks like BBD is just an accessory without Rondo.

"A 3? A 3?"

I laughed when I saw Doc's reaction, but it didn't completely mask my disappointment with Baby's decision. What was he thinking::)
