I'll also give a shout out to an amazing girl who is a huge Larry Bird fan and who I know is also acknowledging his birthday today – I’ve heard her stories of Larry Bird night, and she has a life size cardboard cut out of him!  Abbe – love you and miss you, always.

Happy Birthday to the President of Basketball Operations for the Indiana Pacers, Larry Bird.

I'll admit that I'm kind of ashamed for wanting to root against the Pacers when the Denver Nuggets played them at Conseco Fieldhouse last month, especially after watching how badly the Pacers beat them.

Maybe I'll be able to catch some Pacers games later this season seeing as Conseco is a much shorter drive when compared to Cleveland or Chicago.
