Perk has bad hands.  He baubbles some of the passes that Shaq easily catches in traffic and finishes.  Perk would be a better finisher and rebounder with better hands.  Great defender but mediocre offense player at best.

I think Rondo is a great facilitator and helps our FG% with those assists.  We have good finishers at 4 spots; PP, RA, Shaq and KG.  Rondo shoots a very high FG% for a guard but its vastly inflated by layups.  Our offense sets people up to score well and we move the ball well both things help us immensely.
True about Rondo's facilitation, but have you notice how much more open the guys are this year that he is passing to?

What did we change from past seasons apart from Shaq/Perk that lead to the increase in open guys? I guess part is KG is healthy like he was in 2008, but Rondo is a better passer than in 2008, so that combo is even more deadly.

Shaq demands double teams or at least help, Perk is someone the D can help off. Perk is a solid passer from the top of the key, but Shaq is a good all around passer. Shaq makes things a lot easier on the forwards and wings too.

The % will probably fall off a bit, but their offense is really good with Shaq.
