That was a great win.  It was nice to finally see the team play a full 48 minutes, and they were really digging in on defense.

Eh....Overrection in my opinion considering the Hawks didnt even play hard.

Yes, last regular season the Hawks swept us, but who had the last laugh? we made the finals while they got swept by  team we were 5 minutes from sweeping, also the 2 previous combined regular seasons we went 8-0 aganst the Hawks.
They flat out didnt play hard last night and still have yet to beat a team with a winning Record...not a "wow" kinda win

Celtics WON while the heat and orlando lost GREAT DAY!!

Agreed, but its almnost a waste of time to worry about anyone but the Celtics...Not really terrified of Orlando, they actually look worse this year then the previous 2...boring

The Vince Carter effect seems to have fully taken hold over there.

It's early but so far, contradictory to what everyone thought in the preseason, the West seems stronger at the top with New Orleans and San Antonio playing very well, and the Lakers continuing to win.  In the East it's really just us playing like legit contenders, and we're blowing winnable games too.

Rashard Lewis, JJ Redick, and Quentin Richardson have fallen off the map, Vince Carter is actually playing about as well as he did last year.

Really, really good to see Delonte get his legs under him and his confidence back.  Getting back into game condition was bound to take a couple games.

The Vince Carter effect has always meant Vince gets his numbers.  It's more of an effect on his teammates's performance.

Think of it like the portrait of Dorian Gray - Vince stays more or less the same while everything decays around him.

When was Q.Richardson ever on the map...can't remember him being a consistently good player for any team.

He was a solid role player last year.

Totally agree. A win is a win, but these Hawks are BAD.  They don't play hard and the coach has no idea what he's doing.  It's amazing to think they started out 6-0.  What happened?  Also, they don't seem to have injury issues.  All their key players are playing --- Bibby, JJ, J. Smith, Horford, M. Williams.  They are just a bad team right now.
