If you dont want to read it i'll summarize for you below.

So basically KG says that he's tired of all these guys acting like over-sensitive little babies and crying out on twitter or radio shows about how KG is such a big, mean buwwy. He basically says that in his day you could trash talk on a baskeball court without having to worry about a bunch of nobodies making up stories and pretending to have thier feelings hurt just to they can get followers on twitter.

Here's where I think the writer misses the point. He titles the article "A Kinder, Gentler KG?"

KG basically says he's done talkin trash to nobodies and that he's just gonna let his game do the trash talkin, that he's just gonna focus that much harder on shuttin these guys down. Now while he MAY stop talkin trash I can guarantee he's gonna be playing harder against these guys, be real physical with them etc. There will be nothing kind or gentle about it. ITS KG BABY!!!

I think he's going to talk the same trash on the court to everyone.  I think he means he won't be giving "nobodies" extra media attention.  He sure doesn't look kinder and gentler to me.

TP for bringing the story and breaking it down...let your game speak for itself KG.The breed of NBA players today seem to be thinner-skinned(gentler)than when he came into the NBA.

I hope KG doesn't stop trash talking.  If he said that I don't believe him for a second.

I've seen KG get into guys' heads on numerous occasion with his words and take them completely out of the game.  True, he's done it more times with his play, but there's no reason he can't continue to do both.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

That's how i took it, that he's tired of guys not being able to take trash talking and whining about it, and he's just not going to give the stories the time of day anymore.

Good for him, all this PC crap is stupid. It's basketball, man up and trash talk back.

Can you imagine if a kid fresh in the league tried to tell Larry to tone down the trash talking because he was "mean" ala noah to KG?

larry would drop 40 on him, destroying him verbally all the while.  ;D

Yea I kinda laughed when I thought about KG not talking trash to these guys. Thats not gonna happen. I think what he may do if anything is just talk trash in a different way. Maybe he'll just make comments about them as a team, or about thier basketball skills. Maybe he'll refrain from actual "personal" attacks on people.

I mean next time he dunks on Noah you KNOW he is going to say something. It just might be something like 'You gotta learn to play defense little man' instead of wow you suck and your half-beard makes you look like a bearded lady!' :P

now obviously i had to clean that up a lil bit for the boards but I think you catch my drift :P

He wont stop talkin trash.. I think he might just approach it a little differently and not make it so personal....if he changes at all.

If they are thinner skinned isnt that all the more reason to continue the talking?
