On the back of Semih Erden we resisted a late Thunder run. Let's just get that down on paper for posterity.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

I just watched the game. Great one, except for the "3rd quarter collapse" which led OKC right back in the game but it wouldn't be a Celtics game without a blown lead, uh?

All the starters were on defensively tonight, a lot of steals. Offensively it was on for everybody too, except KG. I really liked what I saw from JO defensively (and even offensively, his jumper didn't fall a lot but he got good looks). But the bench was the big difference in this one, it's always a pleasure to see the 2nd unit make a big impact and actually the decisive run in this one with their 12-2 run in the 2nd. Nate's shot was a little better but most importantly he got good looks for his teammates. Marquis was great and initated the run, Baby was huge with his key buckets to start the 4th, and Semih was a really pleasant surprise! He got good looks, made them count and knocked his free throws. Very good game from him, hopefully he gets more playing time and stays productive.

The only problem is that Ray played 40 minutes and we have a back to back tonight... I know he was needed for our spacing, but still, he will probably play badly tonight.

Finally, this game confirmed how overrated the Thunder is. They have no inside presence and if Durant and Westbrook are not "on", they basically can't score (or if they don't get fastbreaks). Granted, they missed a lot of open shots too, but still, I have a hard time seeing them as good as last year.
