Friday's the big day.  I'm headed to my first game of the year that night. Should be a fun one.

I'm predicting even more embarrassing Scal chants than ever.
Yup

Oh the chants r going to be crazy, but hopefully more in a sign of respect this time which I think they will.
Have fun at the game!

For as bad as Scal was (and I was dumbfounded when Ainge signed him lol), he was the model teammate. Whenever he got minutes, he tried his hardest. He was a hustler, and from all accounts a great guy in the locker room.

While I may never want him on the Celtics again (as a player lol, he may be a good assistant when he hangs up his gently used kicks), I do respect him as a person. I'm truly glad he was part of the 2008 team.

I know he became a gimmick and more of a mascot than a player, but I hope he gets a genuine ovation (and Thibs too) Friday night.
