Artest ranked Kobe best player, Durant No. 2. Asked where LeBron came in, he said: "I only count to 2."

Also, I find it funny that Artest was a mathematics major at St John's. Never would have guessed that.

I could have sworn he went right to the NBA.

The fact that he can count at all is an achievement for him. 2 is a good start.

Incidentally, Dwight Howard also tagged Durant as a better player than LeBron James.

I actually enjoyed it.  I dislike Kobe as a person, but I have a lot of respect for the way he approaches the game.  The gamesmanship is fairly entertaining to watch.  Yeah, Artest might be giving Bron and the Heat added motivation, but so what?  The Heat already have all the motivation they could ever need.

But I think he's absolutely right to be worried about Durant.

Durant -- that kid is awesome!  Seems that everyone hates Lebron now. ;D

I think people are anointing Durant way to early. No way he is as good as Lebron right now. Lebron is a great defender. Durant has been a average at best. That's half of the game right there.
