I know its premature to think past this season but i can't help myself.
next offseson two of our young bigs will be free agents and two of my favorite young bigs will be available:

JaVale McGee ( 7 rb, 6 blocks and 14 pts last night) will probably demand more that the mid level, but i'd love to see him come to boston.

Anthony Randolph, who may see only limited minutes behind Amare could be available at the mid level.

question is, would you rather sign baby and a fully healthy perk?
or jettison one of them to bring in either MCGee or AR?
or jettison both to bring in McGee and AR?

just thinking...

lets go C's!

Regardless of whether we sign Perk or BBD, we'll still only have the MLE, LLE, and vet minimum to add free agents (barring a sign-and-trade).  That being the case, I don't see a scenario where we could add both.

I'd prefer to keep Perk, and would like to see us use the MLE to upgrade elsewhere.  I think Randolph will be too expensive, and I'm not enamored with McGee.

I don't know if I am missing something or not, but I believe McGee is signed for next year, and NY holds a $3 million option on Randolph that they will almost certainly pick up.
