I know this is not what that article is about but worst least productive celtic of all time is hands down  Vin Baker

Or do I get banned for mentioning his name on this site?

Why would you expect to get banned for saying Vin Baker? That's kind of a bizarre expectation.
He was a huge dissappointment but he wasn't all that unproductive when on the court compared with some other stiffs we've had.

As a Celtics "regular"... maybe. But compared to all of the Patrick O'Bryants, Mikki Moore's, and Scot Pollard's that have walked through here, Scal really isn't all that bad.

Namely, Scal could play defense pretty darn well. He doesn't give you blocks or steals, but he was just good at sticking with even some of the more mobile power forwards and making them take tough shots. Hell, I even remember him shutting Amare Stoudemire down one game. At any rate he was never "good" but also never "worthless".

I wouldn't put Pollard in that category.  He rarely played for the Celtics because he was injured practically the whole time.  But if he wasn't injured, I'd be comfortable saying he would be more effective than Scal.

You want someone to laugh at...I rooted for Vin Baker the whole time he was here.  My opinion of the least productive Celtic ever is Mark Blount.  Blount is the only ex-Celtic who truly shows up on my "intense dislike" list because of his total lack of effort on any level in a Celtics uniform.  We know he could have been at least marginally effective because he played fine when he was playing for a contract...which was the only time you could tell he had a pulse.

I agree with you on Blount.  That guy disgusts me, the way he played well enough to get the C's money and then mailed it in. >:(

From a sheer #'s standpoint I'm not surprised he's the least productive, however I thought Dwayn Schinzus (spel?) was downright atrocious.  And as far as attitude, reliability, and consistency Blount has to win the award for worst of all time.

Scal actually got better as the team became more veteran, and as his role changed to become VERY specific.  Most people forget however that in his first 2 years or so his low $3mil/year looked like we were completely overpaying him.  He was in worse shape and he was asked at the time to be a regular player.  Scalabrine is not a regular player.  He doesn't rebound well enough and he's awful on offense, so at that juncture I could see him as the least productive Celtic of all time.  Fortunately come 2008 his role became specific.
