Um...why isn't Rondo playing?
Not that the commentators are always right, but they did mention him having an "off" day, so as to give the other guards like Curry, Westbrook, Gordon more time to play to show what they can do...since those players were "on the bubble". Think of it as Rondo most likely making the cut, and the other guards are fighting to make the cut.
The stream I watched it on was poor and I didn't see the Lithuania game. I'm not trying to be sarcastic here but can someone clue me into what the game plan for Team USA actually is? The Spanish looked to be playing some decent team ball (again, stream was bad so only cleared up for pieces of play) and the US team didn't seem to have any flow or cohesion at all?
I kinda agree that they didn't play with that much flow or anything. I felt a lot of their jumpers they jacked up were stupid and forced shots, it seems that they had to really work hard to get an easy look. Sometimes the stream came in perfectly clear and other times it came in bad, so it's hard to judge the whole game(especially when I was walking away and coming back the whole game) but I just seem to remember a lot of stuff trying to be forced. The turnovers they had this game killed them, there were plenty of stupid fouls, Durant finally got it going and finished with 25 pts 10 reb, with the game clinching block as time expired, Rose played excellent, and it seemed like Spain got way too many easy looks. Other then that you didn't miss much, well besides Gasol getting stuffed by the rim

and Gasol/Durant having a few words for each other lol.
