I think Gody will see some minutes on this team.  He's the only big on the team who can hit 3s.

I don't.  He can't play the 5, so he's limited to the 4.  And with BBD blossoming, how are we going to find minutes for Harangody other than in blowouts?

Even if KG only plays 28 mpg, how can we justify not giving BBD the other 20?  If anything, he probably deserves more.

I'd be shocked if Harangody is even on the active roster.

The Starting 5

Shaq
BBD
Daniels
Wafer
Nate

Bradley

He could be the 12th man, but a) I don't see a 12th man playing and b) that's only if we don't get someone for Sheed's deal.

Harangody may be more NBA ready than Bradley
Yes, simply because AB is coming off surgery.  ;-)

By the way, Gody is a tweener in the mold of Ryan Gomes.  He's not tall enough to play the 4 and he's not big enough like Davis.

Also I apologize for messin up the quotes if I keep doin it sorry. Im on a itouch. It's tough to get used to..

np man sorry for being rude, was just a little annoyed at that first guys comment. cant stand holier than thou people.

No worries happens to everybody. We all have our tipping points. For the record though, I don't think he was trying to be a "holier" than you. I think he was just saying Retard is now kinda considered pretty ignorant in a lot of circles at this point. Maybe he knows a person with a mental disability. Or perhaps he works with them. You never know. It's not a shot at your character it's just a gentle reminder that words hold a lot of power and meaning to some people and you just gave to remember to always be respectful to other peoples opinions. And don't take any if this wrong I'm not trying to talk down to you I'm just bein "real".
Yea I see where you guys are coming from, but I have a mentally handicapped cousin and I actually employ 4 mentally challenged through a program called Ability Counts, i've become very close with some of these people over the years and I treat them just like I would treat any of my other friends, i joke with em, I give em a hard time and they give it right back. Words only hurt people when they are used with hate, my buddy charles (macdaddy as he calls himself lol) calls me a R-word all the time and i give it right back to him. Maybe you've had different experiences in your lives but all the mentally challenged people i've known in my life just wanted be treated like everyone else, and dont want people treating them nicely just because they're handicapped.

I wont use the word again on the forum clearly it would cause too much trouble. But honestly, bald guy with the jersey playin putt-putt, you just assuming that i'm an ignorant person because I use one word is pretty silly. According to your theory about 99% of the people on earth are ignorant because everyone says something offensive every now and then. And passive-aggresively calling someone ignorant is very "holier than thou"

Harangody basically has to make the team in training camp.  I think he passed the first test in summer league which is good for him.  I think the comparison to Gomes may be fair and if I were Harangody, I would be delighted to stick around the NBA and play (and earn) as much as Ryan Gomes has.  Tough to see him making much of an impact on a team like the current Celtics though.

I might be the only one but I kinda hope he doesnt get signed.

No I'm pretty sure you aren't (ND).  I hope he does and more than likely as mentioned he'll be inactive, maybe go to the D league and if we get some injuries he can brought back up for depth.  He can score and has a high BBIQ (BBD clone) so I suspect he'll be signed.  He also could fill the void when BBD eventually gets traded.. around the deadline for the playoff push.  I'm going to have to get a new pic if he doesn't sign, that would suck.  : (

Everyone please cease and desist with the bickering.  We try to have a fairly high level of discourse around here, and we ask members to avoid certain words they may use in their daily lives (i.e., profanity -- even minor examples, "retarded", personal attacks, etc.)

It was a bad choice of words on my part, wont happen again. And it certainly wasn't said with the intent of offending anyone so i'm sorry if I did.
