You really have to win something to have a rivalry that matters.  That leaves LeBron out of any rivalry talk, a game gets rough and he might quit.  Plus James doesn't care about winning, he is hoping these guys will win it for him.

A lot of young fans are fans of players rather than teams. That started with the marketing of MJ, and LeBron is the posterchild at this point.

Almost no chance for a title this year, and who knows what happens after the CBA expires...
