I never want to hear the name Marty Conlon again.  I feel bad for white guys in the NBA because they always get compared to other white guys even if their games aren't similar.  I do it myself as I have been trying to find similarities in Harangody's game to that of Dan Majerle and I always compare him to Matt Harpring.

He's been getting comparfed to alot of different players, but that jump shot of his reminds me more of Matt Bonner than anyone else.

By the way, if Bonner's level is his ceiling, I'll be happy with that.  Anything above that would be an absolute gift.

Harangody is the evolutionary Scal.  It'll be interesting to see how he works out, but I'm glad it's looking like Danny made another smart 2nd rd pick.

And to remember how everybody hated the pick on draft night.  How a few summer league games can change things lol.

I don't think everyone hated the pick. Anyone who has watched Big East basketball the last few years knows this guy can score and has heart.  Doesn't mean he'll be successful, but as a late 2nd round pick a number of people liked it.

Agreed, I watch a lot of Big East ball (Cuse fan) and my take on Harangody was always that he wasn't efficient enough to get his team much above mediocrity in college, but anyone who can put up those kinds of numbers against Big East talent can be effective in some kind of NBA role.

Whether that'll be this year or not or for this team or not, who knows.  But if he works hard and doesn't get hurt, I think he'll stick somewhere in the league, which is all you can really ask of a 2nd rounder.

he's a bum.  He's not going to do crap in this league.  He might be a solid addition to the bench of our DLeague affiliate, though.

That makes you 2 for 2 with you being right on BBD...

You are like my good luck charm.  Any opinions on Avery the rookie PG?  So I know to go the with opposite opinion.

I guess i missed the memo on BBD somehow proving not to be a bum.   He's good for a handful of points and a few boards.   Mediocre bench player.  Maybe the Harogondy bum will overachieve into being a poor man's John Brockman.

0 Expectations for the Avery kid.  Maybe he'll be a poor man's Orien Greene.

Some of us don't need a memo to explain who's a good and bad NBA player.  Your comparisons aren't top notch either but, TP for the response.  I'll now assume Avery will be the steal of the draft.  Thanks.
