He doesn't solve our issue, he'd be a great 2 off the bench but whose backing up PP? Rudy is 6'6" but hes only 195. We need some bigger guys at the 3 spot, i'm not comforatble with just Rudy at all. I feel weird saying this but i kinda wish we still had TA, even if he was undersized. I really want Battier but thats a pipe dream, unless something drastic happens in Houston. Jamario Moon doesn't really do it for me, and I really can't think of anyone who really meets the tall/defender requirment at the 3 spot. Looks like we're destined to be undersized at the wing once again... :(

Rudy will probably end up in chigago, he's only makin 1.25 next year and the bulls *somehow* still have 2mil in cap space even tho thier team is loaded..

I dont think Battier is a pipe dream I think its actually quite possible
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

All we got is Sheed man. Battier is expiring anyway, hes a servicable role player and he'll be affordable next year. If Yao comes back healthy HOU could be serious. If i'm the HOU GM i might consider it for Sheed+1st...but thats a big MIGHT.

Danny should make the offer, but I doubt Houston accepts it, especially not before they know if Yao can come back and play.

I think Danny does need to do *something* with Sheed's contract pre-season, though, probably pre-training camp. Carrying Sheed on the roster during the season if he isn't committed to *playing* is folly. If Danny can't get a player he wants pre-season he needs to try to get a Traded Player Exemption for Sheed+$$$+pick to use at the deadline. If he can't get that, then Sheed should just file his papers and come off the C's roster and cap.

So do I.  Minnesota just signed Tolliver when they already had a logjam at the 2/3, so maybe Brewer is available.

Tolliver is an undersized big, not a swingman.
