Good news. Another piece of the team put in place. Wishing for a very successful tenure in Boston for him.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

Solid hire. I wonder if Frank may eventually become Doc's successor, but that's getting a bit ahead of ourselves.
I think it is a great signing just because Frank is head coach material and will have the chance to get acquainted with the players and the system for at least 1 year under Doc -- that's assuming we'll need a replacement in the observable future.

Well I heard that this upcoming season was the most important for Doc, as after this season, his youngest son will be going to college and his wife can come live with him in Boston. If this year works out, I expect him to come back at least one more season for the possible final year of the Big Three.

Great news!  Frank was the guy I was hoping we'd put on the bench next to Doc once I heard Thibs was leaving.

Hey! Great news! Stacked coaching staff's gotta be worth something, right?
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

He's straight up with everybody including the media, so I expect a lot of insight when Dickerson gets to talk with him.

The Celtics don't allow assistant coaches media access.
