Hmmm not exactly the signing I was hoping to read about but I guess I can muster up some enthusiasm. Hope he can give us a little more than the last 7 foot project we signed.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

So is he really signed? Even without a game played, I can tell you he'll be better than Shelden. What a disaster Mr. Parker was last season. Here an advice to Semih: Play D & be ready to catch crazy passes from Rondo.

I really liked what I saw the last time Semih played on the Cs summer league team right after he was drafted..  I was hoping he would have been signed then, but instead we ended up with Patrick O'Bryant.

Everyone's foaming at the mouth about splashy free agents.  So much so that we think of Rudy Gay as "the one that got away."  Please!!

To me Danny's on the right path with guys like Erden and Bradley.  Acquire some draft picks and younger, cheaper free agents with some potential.  Have these young guys play out the string with Garnett, Pierce and Allen, and, hopefully, in the process find and develop some guys who can transition into a future without the "big three" and alongside Rajon Rondo.

It didn't work out with Giddens and Walker, but that's fine.  Panic buttons not necessary.  Danny'll find a hidden gem or more somewhere along the way before it's too late.  Hopefully,  Erden will one of those gems.  If not, nothing lost by signing him to a contract.
DKC Seventy-Sixers:

SG: C. Lee/B. Hield/T. Luwawu
SF:  Giannis/J. Lamb/M. Kuzminskas
PF:  E. Ilyasova/J. Jerebko/R. Christmas
C:    N. Vucevic/K. Olynyk/E. Davis/C. Jefferson

Eh? Erden hasn't played anything for the Celtics yet. Not even summer league in 2008.

Oops!!  Thanks for the correction.  I must have been hallucinating again.
