It only makes sense that he wants an offensive bench with more youth & length to contend with Gasol+Odom+Bynum+Howard

As stated the C's have interest on the deadly shooter Anthony Morrow, & the need for a true 7-footer that's young is pressing..

I could see a sign & trade with rasheed's contract & Finley for Biedrins & Morrow who are used to the Warriors fast break style and would only make Rondo more dangerous in the transition game ..

next we also have need for a reliable swingman that won't get injured (sorry Marquis Daniels) & a real PF that can rebound consistently and not have his shot blocked (sorry Baby aka Shrek)

it's noted that the celtics have shown interest in mike miller
and the Wizards will eventually be looking for cap space by dumping Andray Blatche (he's a true PF with potential & an attitude like Beasley)

because if they are indeed moving Gilbert to the magic for Gortat because they already have John Wall, it makes no sense for them to have that many people in the frontcourt

(Gortat, Yi, McGee, Booker, Seraphin and N'diaye)

however, after many crazy ideas, i really think this is the solid & sensible move that gets made this summer because
A) we get younger immediately
B) we get length to contend for rebounds with Pau "llama" Gasol from biedrins+blatche+miller
C) get consistent bench scoring & unmatched 3-pt spacing from morrow+miller

a line up of

rondo/bradley
allen/morrow/tony
pierce/miller/scalabrine
kg/blatche/BBD
Art P/biedrins/Perk

ain't so bad ::)

ummm...what?

based off of some rumors Morrow and Miller may be targets, but you pulled Biedrins and Blatche out of left field - not to say they wouldn't be nice additions, but I don't think its fair to say "looks like Danny's aiming" for them...

The Blatche thing really is ridiculous. "the Wizards will eventually be looking for cap space by dumping Andray Blatche" - the Wizards just took on Kirk Hinrich's $17 million contract with the cap space they had. Doesn't seem like they're looking for cap space.
Go Celtics.

Blatche is 23 and just played the last few months of the season averaging 20 and 8.  Can't see it.

Also can't see it with Morrow... that kid shoots lights out.  There are a ton of Warrior players i'd love to grab, but I dont' see us grabbing any of them.

These two things don't go together.  Mike Miller has a reputation for being injury-prone.  Not as badly as Daniels, but he's pretty likely to miss a dozen games and he's coming off of his most injured season.

If, in addition to re-signing Ray Allen, the Celtics bring back Tony Allen and Nate Robinson, those two, combined with Avery Bradley (a potential future starter at shooting guard) should be able to combine to provide enough SG back-up minutes that the team has a more pressing need for a cornerman who can provide relief at both forward slots than a wing, if such a player is out there.

Very misleading topic. No articles linked saying anything about this. But as for your trade ideas, I like part of them.

My goal, since GS would love to trim salary, is get Turiaf along with Morrow. I liked Biedrens, but his FT % is horrid and he has no offensive game besides dunking. Only way I'd take him is if we lost Perk for good.

How about Sheed and Daniels or NateRob for Morrow, Bell and Turiaf?

If GSW liked either of Daniels or Nate, we could sign them for a 1 year deal between 4-6 mil, Sheed retires, and Warriors lose 8 mil in salary for 2011-2012.
As for us, we get a Rondo backup that can score and defend, a SG/SF that can do the same, and a big that can do everything(dunk, block and rebound)
That leaves us with the MLE to sign other players. Here I would like to split the MLE between a player like Stromile Swift and Mike Miller.

Rondo - Bell - Bradley
Ray - Morrow
Pierce - Miller
KG - BBD - Harangody
Turiaf - Stromile - Perk
Can't stop, Rondo!
