One thing has nothing to do with the other. Every case is different.

The common denominator is that the lapdog media has been/is reporting the drama queen stuff as headline news.

Listening to them talk about the Messiah's elbow ad-nauseum is about as tedious as listening to that idiotic Staples commercial...
I agree about elbow thing but you cannot compare it to Michael's flu game. Unless you think MJ wanted to boost his legacy, bribed the doctor that diagnosed him, somehow acted like very sick and fooled everyone? Or some other crazy conspiracy theory? It was clear that he was really sick and struggling, but his unmatched competitive drive and adrenalin kept him in.

Post-Jordan, you are no longer allowed to use the flu as an excuse for poor performance.

I'm still skeptical if Jordan really ever had the flu. Granted he's in better shape than anyone I know but generally the flu will render people unable to get out of bed.
So waht was it? Did you see how exhausted he looked during the game?
Looked or acted?

Looked. He's not that good of an actor. Some thing you can't fake, just watch the game again.

Facepalm, roll eyes. Whatever.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

The funny thing with all of this is that absolutely no one was concerned about the Celtics when they had their various maladies during the regular season.

ESPN was ready to bury us - indeed some of them did.

Now that we are on the cusp of Banner 18, it's all much sweeter to us now!

Yeah seriously. Jordan was a mess in that game, yet played like an absolute star.
