No, not really. He's the classic example of a internet troll. Those type of people are hurt the worst when noone pays attention to them.

Over the last five years the LA Times has been gutted (like many major newspapers).  The employees that are left are ones that were not able to secure a better gig on the internet a la J.A. Adande, or Marc Spears.  Plus, Simers is a crank who wants everyone to hate him.  Simers has already alienated every Faker fan in LA, and now he's doing his best to do the same to Celtics fans.

I saw that and wrote that dude an email this morning. Terrible. He and Phil whining about the refs makes Doc look more and more classy every day.
