Obviously the main reason I wanted to see the Celtics win tonight was so they would have a fighting chance at winning the series, but I'm also excited because it means we get to see these two teams do battle more times.

I've loved the competitive fire each team has showed in the last couple of minutes of the first two games even when they knew the game was lost for them.  It shows me they understand that a series is not won or lost on any individual contest.

It's really fascinating to watch two recent champs go at it at like this.

I have a heck of a lot more respect for the Lakers this year than I did in 2008.  This will make beating them all the more sweet!

Very true. I also have a grudging respect for the Lakers this year. For Pau Gasol, also. In 2008 I had no respect for him AT ALL -- I thought he was a scrub. This series he's been hitting every shot, crashing the boards harder than anyone, and playing smothering defense on Garnett. I hate him, but he's pretty good now. Unfortunately his prime is beginning now and he's already 29 years old. That means including this year he only has about 4 years to be a great player.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

This one definitely has the makings of an epic series.  Boston in 7!

Apart of me is disappointed because I would really like to see these two teams duke it out and have the two teams determine which is the better one.

It kinda feels like there are 2 games being played out there: one is a basketball game and the other is the reffing game.

yeh, even though the Lakers got to the line a lot more, I thought there were a ton more questionable calls swaying our way last night.
