I have quite a few points that touch different areas but don’t really believe in starting multiple threads so I will just state them and keep them is a concise as possible.
-Good games by Gasol and Bynum in both games (33 points and 20 rebounds combined in game 1, 46 points and 14 rebounds in game 2). My theory is this is as good as Gasol and Bynum will play together and if Bynum is not as good, that means more PT for Lamar Odom and less problems for the Cs unless he plays well. Either way I don’t think that you can get more than 50 points and 25 rebounds from LA’s frontline of LO, Bynum and Gasol so I don’t think their production will change. Verdict: curse of Bynum and Gasol becomes blessing for Celtics.
-Losing game 1 in such an awful manner was frustrating for the Cs but winning game 2 was key. Verdict: curse of game 1 becomes a blessing with game 2 win because of the momentum going back home and also because the Cs would have won the last game in LA if the series were to go back to LA (see CLE series).
-PP having a good game in game 1 and Ray being cold (opposite in game 2). Impact: Ray was on fire in game 2 and no PP isos!! PP will have a good game 3, he is “trusting” Rondo more now as he admitted in the Jackie MacMullan interview and in the press conference on Friday.
-Kobe only scoring 21 points. Impact: blessing for the Celtics as Kobe will be more aggressive next game and it should take away shots from the LA bigs who are doing really well at the moment (except for LO). I don’t think that Kobe going for 50 will make it hard for the Celtics to win so it’s win win right now.
-PP and KG 4-16 from the field game 2. Impact: blessing in disguise for Ray to find his rhythm and for Rondo to put his mark on the series; however it might be a curse if PP’s ego gets in the way.
-Rondo playing entire three quarters. Impact: Nate is showing that he fits in nicely into the mix.
-KG foul trouble. Verdict: a curse turned into a blessing due to Baby’s production and hustle, Sheed’s extremely efficient play.
-Ron Artest. Verdict: Curse for PP in game 2 but a blessing to see him go 1-10 and dribble the ball like Bob Cousy finishing off a game back in the day when the Lakers had to put up a three quickly

Paul Pierce is remaining humble.
- FT disparity in favor of Celtics. Verdict: what appears to be a curse is a blessing because it takes the Lakers out of their rhythm .
I like the way things are going and have faith that the officiating will favor a more physical game 3 (dunno which side it will favor).
