do you guys think he will try to make a statement? something tells me KG is going to go off a la in Da Kid fashion and slam down a few nasty dunks.

as much as we need ball movement and not "me" ball id love to see KG take it to the hole, and i think in return itd fire up our whole team

He will come out more determined tonight but needs to keep his composure and not try to do too much.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

I certainly hope so.  I'm a little bit worried that he's getting *too* fired up, and I'm concerned that he'll press and/or commit stupid fouls.

If KG rebounds and plays good defense, I'll be very happy, regardless of the point production.

agreed. I would consider something like a 2-16, 6 pt, 6 rebound performance from gasol as a great statement from KG

McHale went into every game understanding that he needed to demand the ball. Garnett goes into every game wanting to make the right passes.

Sometimes you NEED to be the black hole for your team.

Garnett needs to attack the boards here, against the Magic it was a "all of us against Dwight" attitude. With The Lakers we have to out-rebound our match-up our self.

If KG is not effective down in the low post then he needs to start hitting that jumper.

Ainge is hoping for KG to respond in game 2

Quote
He said he hadn’t seen Pau Gasol’s mild yet overblown comments about Kevin Garnett.

Sure hope so....
for the first time since he's been here he was hurting this team so much during game one that I actually wanted him sitting on the bench at times. Painful to watch
