Was Tony Gaffney signed to give Celts Info on Lakers?

I saw an interview online with Celtics forward Tony Gaffney, where they made a big deal about his time spend with the Lakers during the preseason.

Do you think this was an anticipatory move by Doc/Ainge?? Maybe get some info, as some info is better than none.

I don't think it's that big a deal; I mean, I'm not sure what he could tell them that the C's don't already know. Also, I find it difficult to believe that what the Lakers went through in PRE-SEASoN they'll try and do in the NBA Finals. At least, not without some modifications here and there.
