Dear Celtics:

I can not express in words how incredibly proud I am to be a Celtic fan, and it's because you define what "Celtic Pride" means to me ...

Never quitting when the chips are down, never giving up when everyone says you no longer have what it takes, fighting through injuries, illnesses and penalties ...

Not letting the critics affect your positive outlook, playing unselfishly and making the team the most important player, not letting ego or "superstar-dom" get in the way of Ubuntu or being coached effectively ...

Learning to adapt to new players and changes in the leadership structure in a positive way, taking constructive criticism to heart, (and not personally), listening to your fans and letting us know that our energy is what feeds your intensity ...

Being not just the best basketball players in the NBA, but also the best people, and most of all, making it to the NBA Finals Championship Series when everyone said you couldn't.

I know that you'll give your all, and whatever the outcome, I will remain as proud as ever, and so appreciative of the excitement and joy you've brought to my life.

It's true that Boston fans are the greatest fans in the world, but it's only because we have the greatest teams ... always have, and always will.

Thanks for everything, guys ... Red would be proud.

Now let's get this thing done, and light that cigar!

Go Celtics!

I'll add "Don't get disheartened in the early games - fight, fight and fight"

Well Written, Bahku - as always :).

All I will say is:

Celtics - know that you have fans far and wide. One of the parents at my sons school saw my Celtics Shirt yesterday, and she said she hopes they win! I quote this good woman:

"I cannot Stand The Lakers!"

You've come to the brink of Banner 18. The next few weeks will be tough, but you can do it. Nothing worth fighting for is ever easy. The Lakers have the motivation and are improved, and have one of the best players of all time, but we have Truth, and a Team.

Now let's get to business and bring Banner 18 Home. Kobe says that we are in LA's way, but the feeling's mutual.
