Back in Dec, 2008.
Quote
BOSTON -- Glen "Big Baby" Davis was hospitalized Sunday with whiplash and a concussion after being involved in a traffic accident on his way to the Celtics-Knicks game.

Does this change how Celtics medical staff evaluate Glen?

Oh, this is not good news! I am so worried about BBD.
I wonder, though, is it only dangerous to play while still concussed? Or is it a cumulative effect over the years?
I certainly hope he is not allowed to play Friday.

Multiple concussions within a short span of time is the bigger more severe issue.

I think we had a situation where Brian Scalabrini had multiple concussions (3?) within matter of months.

The 1st concussion causes a tendency for prone to concuss in the future.

Thanks for that great info. Now I'm more scared than ever. Doc is sure being strange about this. He was quoted last night or this morning as saying that 'Glen is always delirious, so we can't tell if he's effected or not'. God, very poor attempt at humor at Glen's expense. He should have been complimenting Baby's courage and not making fun of him.
