Perhaps I've been watching too many episodes of 'Fringe' but I have profound sense that banner 18 is already here but in a parallel plane, right next to ours.

In other words, as time marches towards early June, the seemingly probable realities start to "collapse" upon themselves and the most plausbile realities begin to manifest. I'd felt that game 2 and 4 of the Cav's series was when the quantum equations were at maximum divergence. In other words, solutions sets were forming and that a simple directional ... if the Celts beat the Cavs, the rest of the league implodes under the arrogance of their franchise player mantra. Thus, Queen James was the last anchor of the individual superstar squad. By losing game 4, not only did James lose but also, in a quantum field of superstars, Howard and Kobe had also lost, in the race for diverging futures. The truth is that the best team wins and on a parallel plane, closest to ours, the Celtics are that team. Now, it's time for it to be in our own world.

Put that junk down, son. It makes you lazy and hungry.  ;D
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Unfortunately, even the newest discoveries pertaining to the verification of principles of string theories, suggest that even if multiple universes exist, (and in turn, parallel dimensions), they do so under their own very unique set of rules and physics. In fact, the paradoxes of such alternate planes of existence actually insure that a "parallel universe" or identical plane of existence with different characteristics or outcomes would be impossible.

String theory posits that the electrons and quarks within an atom are not 0-dimensional objects, but rather 1-dimensional oscillating lines ("strings"), possessing only the dimension of length, but not height or width. The theory posits that these strings can vibrate, thus giving the observed particles their flavor, charge, mass and spin. The earliest string model, the bosonic string, incorporated only bosons, although this view evolved to the superstring theory, which posits that a connection (a "supersymmetry") exists between bosons and fermions, two fundamentally different types of particles.

String theories also require the existence of several extra, unobservable, dimensions to the universe, in addition to the usual three spatial dimensions (height, width, and length) and the fourth dimension of time. M theory, for example, requires that spacetime have eleven dimensions.

The theory has its origins in the dual resonance model - first proposed in 1968 by Gabriele Veneziano - which described the strongly interacting hadrons as strings. Since that time, the term string theory has evolved to incorporate any of a group of related superstring theories - indeed, the "strings" are no longer considered fundamental to the theory, which can also be formulated in terms of points or surfaces. As such, five major string theories were developed, each with a different mathematical structure, and each best describing different physical circumstances.

The main differences between each theory were principally the number of dimensions in which the strings developed, and their characteristics (some were open loops, some were closed loops, etc.), however all these theories appeared to be correct. In the mid 1990s, string theorist Edward Witten of the Institute for Advanced Study considered that the five major versions of string theory might be describing the same phenomenon from different perspectives.

Witten's resulting M-theory, a proposed unification of all previous superstring theories, asserted that strings are really 1-dimensional slices of a 2-dimensional membrane vibrating in 11-dimensional space. As a result of the many properties and principles shared by these approaches (such as the holographic principle), their mutual logical consistency, and the fact that some easily include the standard model of particle physics, many of the world's greatest living physicists (such as Edward Witten, Juan Maldacena and Leonard Susskind) believe that string theory is a step towards the correct fundamental description of nature.

In particular, string theory is the first candidate for the theory of everything (TOE), a manner of describing the known fundamental forces (gravitational, electromagnetic, weak and strong interactions) and matter (quarks and leptons) in a mathematically complete system. However, prominent physicists such as Richard Feynman and Sheldon Lee Glashow have criticized string theory for not providing any quantitative experimental predictions.

Like any other quantum theory of gravity, it is widely believed that testing the theory directly would require prohibitively expensive feats of engineering. Whether there are stringent indirect tests of the theory is unknown.

In other words, we haven't won until we've won, and don't "count your chickens before they hatch", (I like the positivity ... unfortunately, the theory of 'Occam's Razor' doesn't usually come down on the side of optimism ... but here's to proving science wrong!). ;)

Seven more wins this season, and then I'll start thinking about #19.

I know that many won't accept it but I believe he was there, with us, all the way through that year.

I think that Fringe has invoked Hugh Everett's many-worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics (as Stargate SG-1 also did). Has the show made a commitment to string theory?

In general, the science on Fringe is pretty dumb, particularly the parts about traveling between universes.

Ok folks, the reason why we're up 2-0, against the Magic, is that we've already won the NBA finals in the most plausible reality, since games 2 vis-a-vis 4 of the Cav's series.

Have you noticed that since then, the Celts have been nothing but confident? And that meltdowns were minor missteps and not true meltdowns. It's because the Pierce of the near most plausible future is communicating to the Pierce of this moment and that communication is simple .... Fo' Fo' Fo'. It's happening to all the Celt's players. The convergence is happening!

The plausible reality is becoming the current reality. There is but one destiny now!

TP For the Championship pictures. Enjoyed looking at all of them.
The reason we will be hanging up # 18 is because teams are scared of us again. Remember Rondo  stating before that they were having trouble because teams didnt fear them anymore? Well the Magic are shook, and so should LA be. We arnet the soft Suns, we arnet the undersized Jazz, and we sure arent the inexperienced Thunder. We are The Boston Celtics, best sports franchise ever.
