So this past year we've played just as well on the road as we have at home. This alone would not warrant not having HCA.
But since we're able to continually play quality basketball on the road, we have been able to steal at least one of the first two games while playing on the road (two in this series

). By winning at least one game on the road to start the series I think it puts an unsaid pressure on the team that had HCA.
Winning games on the road I think gives this team a swagger and a lot more confidence moving forward; while at the same time I think both the Cavs and Magic were a little stunned at how the Celtics came out to start the series, stealing games on their floor. Makes them back pedal and put a little more pressure on them for the rest of the series.
If we're able to win this series and go to the finals and play the Lakers, I really really think the 2-3-2 format will play to our advantage. Especially if we steal one the first two games, which we know this team is most certainly capable of.
